It has been quite a while since I update this blog.

Almost 2 months have past and I am encouraged by most pupils' attitude towards learning. No doubt, there are pupils who need constant reminders for work submission but generally, most are motivated to do their best that they can.

I have just returned the pupils' second piece of writing. The average score of 15.36 is much higher than the first as their individual writing was very similar to the group writing. In fact, 4 pupils managed to score 19/20! The lowest was 12/20. Pupils who excelled were able to give good reasons for an even to happen. It is something like explaining the cause and effect of an event. This is one good technique in scoring well in composition writing. By the way, the breakdown for the grading of compositions is 12 marks for Content and 8 marks for Language.

I will be getting the pupils to send their assignments back for your checking this week. Hence, I need all parents to check through your child's work before signing their assignments. I thank all in advance. =)
