I would like to introduce an ICT tool that I will be using in my teaching of English and Science.
During our ICT lesson at the Computer Lab yesterday, I had gotten all pupils to create a VoiceThread account using their MC Online email address with a default password.
In a nutshell, VoiceThread allows pupils to make comments (by typing, video or voice) on a given topic. This allows collaboration among themselves as they can view one others' responses. In yesterday's lesson, I had ask them to comment on a Concept Cartoon on Plants. It serves as a trigger activity for the upcoming unit in Science. You can view their responses here.
I will be using the same tool for my English oral practices as well.
